I can tell this is going to be an interesting year already. I tend to fear change, but so far, I am taking this one in stride. We'll see how it goes. :D

Many of you I've already seen since taking my comps and getting the grade back, so I've already given you the good news. For the rest of you, sorry it took me so long to get around to posting. I have passed my comps and I will be walking the stage down in San Marcos Saturday the 20th, in cap, gown, and hood. I have completed my Masters degree. I couldn't be happier or more excited, and I wanted to share with everyone.

All in all though, I had a very good time. I kept myself very distracted and was completely not stressed out and I think I did very well. Much better than the take home portion, though I'm caught up on Girl Genius and Questionable Content now.

If anyone has any books with any information about the Athenian Navy of the 5th century, I would really love to borrow them. Please! Thank you!

( How my first week of the year went )

A very full week and I feel a bit tired just looking over it all, and remembering it. I look forward to the new year, with all the good and the bad that it will bring. Would the ups be quite as high without the downs? So what is better: A meandering life of moderation? Or a roller coaster? - Let the Good Times Roll. ;)

I have finished the book Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlein. Does this mean I can keep my poly and geek membership cards? It wasn't the best thing I've ever read, but I liked it. I will read more of his stuff when I get a chance.

In other news, I have moved everything out of my apartment, but did not finish cleaning. I read online that hairspray could take pen marks off the wall. It does, and it took some of the paint too. I doubt I will get my damage deposit back now, so I definitely won't be killing myself over the cleaning.

Since i haven't posted in a while, here's an update on stuff and things. As boring as it sounds.
